The Department regularly organizes study tours visiting chemical manufacturing facilities, invites experts from industry and other co-curricular activities in the benefit of the students. These study tours helps the students and faculty to get the over view of actual practices involving Unit processes and Unit operations applied to convert the basic raw materials to useful products. The students study Chemical Engineering subjects like Stoichiometry, Chemical Process Industries, Mass Transfer Operations, Process Heat Transfer, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Process Design, Environmental pollution and safety management with Advanced Separation Techniques as part of curriculum. Visit to Industries help students to know how these operations are carried out on a huge scale. The interaction with the technical experts enriches them in technologies and industrial discipline and behavior also.
